Installation Method
This RE style carbon fiber spoiler adopts direct bolt-on installation. It is developed for Mazda RX7 FD3S trunk original mounting positions, no large-scale cutting or body modification required.
Pre-fit alignment first Open the trunk lid, remove original spoiler if equipped. Place the new spoiler on the trunk for trial fitting, adjust centering and flatness, mark mounting positions to ensure no interference with taillight housing and trunk opening/closing.
Surface cleaning & waterproof treatment Wipe mounting contact area thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to remove wax, dust and grease. Install rubber gaskets between spoiler base and car paint to prevent paint abrasion and water leakage.
Bolt fastening from inner trunk Align spoiler bottom holes with trunk pre-reserved holes, pass matched bolts through holes, install washers & lock nuts on inner side of trunk panel, tighten evenly step by step. Do not over-tighten to avoid cracking carbon fiber material.
LED wiring connection Route built-in LED lamp wiring through reserved gap into trunk interior, connect wiring harness to vehicle taillight circuit according to positive/negative polarity. Test LED running light and brake light functions to confirm normal lighting effect.
Final inspection & finishing Recheck spoiler level, tightness of all fasteners and wire fixation. Apply sealant around bolt holes optionally for better waterproof performance, then reinstall trunk interior trim panels to finish installation.
