Screw mounting
If there are no existing mounting points, pre-drill holes in suitable locations.
Secure the front lip with the screws provided or the original screws.
If using rivet nuts, insert these into the drill holes beforehand.
Tighten all screws evenly to prevent warping.
Adhesive mounting
Apply double-sided high-performance adhesive tape to several points on the lip.
Alternatively or additionally, apply silicone or body adhesive to the adhesive surfaces.
Press the front lip evenly and firmly onto the bumper.
If necessary, secure with adhesive tape or clamps until the adhesive has hardened.
Hybrid method
A combination of screws and adhesive ensures maximum stability.
First attach the lip with adhesive or double-sided adhesive tape, then screw it in place.
